Single-sided banner of the Honourable Society of Cymmrodorion, about 1775. Inscribed: 'Undeb a brawdgarwch'.
Painted cream ribbed weave silk, with white silk cord applied on all four sides. Undyed cellulosic canvas interlining and lining of dark blue cotton sateen. Blue wool fringe applied to side and lower edges. Suspended from a gold-painted wooden pole with a gold metallic ball at both ends. Seven pole loops made from yellow ribbon (cotton and silk). Dark blue tassel and rope (wood, wool and silk) tied around both ends of pole.
