Sheep shearing machine
Hand-operated sheep shearing machine. It required two people to operate it: one to shear, the other to provide the manual labour to power it. Turning the handle provided power through a series of gears and a long, flexible drive shaft to the handset. One set of teeth moved backwards and forwards above the other, the smaller, finer teeth beneath the wider, thicker teeth of the top set.
