Reverse. The King riding on horseback to sinister, his irght hand holds his sword aloft, piercing the close of the legend; his left holds his shield with arms of FRANCE (Modern) and ENGLAND quarterly, which also appear on the horse trappings; his helmet bears the crest of England, a lion crowned statant guardant; field diapered with roses and suns in splendour. (both the fore and hind legs of the horse pierce the legend).
