Seal impression: Royal
Reverse. The King on horseback, galloping to sinister, over a rabbit warren and in a style akin to his other seals, but with differences: the sword is broader, the shield rests on the nape of the horse’s neck, both fore and hind legs penetrate the legend. Its plume (according to Wyon) bears but three feathers. Arms on shield and trappings, and the ornamentation of the field, are much the same, with small fleurs-de-lis at the diaper intersections.
