Jug, cider
Cider jug, medium cream-coloured earthenware, inset base within a flattened-off foot-rim, barrel-shaped body, beak spout with foliate moulding to the underside, loop handle with foliate moulding to the terminals; the exterior body decorated with horizontal stripes of slip in shades of blue, black and red bisected around the centre of the body by a series of vertical incised lines. A crack across the base.
