S.S. PORTHMEOR (749gt). Coaster built 1919 by Forth Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. Ltd., Alloa, as GOODIG for Stone & Rolfe, Llanelli. 1946 – Sold to Porth Shipping Co (Care Lines), Cardiff, and renamed PORTHMEOR. 1951 – Sold to Bristol Steam Navigation Co., Bristol, and renamed APOLLO. 1953 – Sold to Saint Ia Shipping Co (R.P. Care & Co.) St Ives, and renamed CARBIS BAY. 1955 – Sold to Roberts & Cooper (Thos. E. Kettlewell & Son), Hull. She was broken up at Blyth in 1956.
