Mug
Mug, straight sides, with a raised band slightly below top of handle and another at base of handle. Handle flat at top, sharply angled, then gently curved at bottom, dividing into two at junction with body; decorated with gilt borders, palmettes, and a gilt anthemian and green enamel dots at top. Body decorated with frieze of scrolling leaves in pink enamel and gilding, between two gilt bands. Below, a D in gold, with sprays of pink roses, with green foliage either side. Gilt band at bottom.
