Bowl and stand
Bowl and stand, hard-paste porcelain, the bowl is bell-shaped with a flared rim and a footring, the stand is hexagonal with a shaped rim and ribbed sides and with a flat base; the inner and outer rim of the bowl and the inner rim of the stand are banded with a red line and curved line border overpainted with gilding, the centre of both pieces are painted with a winged insect in black, gold and red against a ground of red and gilt scales.
