RALSTON, but completed 1943 as SAMOIS by Bethleham Fairfield Shipyard Inc., Baltimore (engine by Worthington Pump & Machinery Corp., Harrison, New Jersey), for MoWT, managed by Westcott & Laurence Line, London. 1947 – Sold to Ellerman Lines Ltd (Ellerman & Bucknall Steamship Co), and renamed CITY OF LICHFIELD. 1951 – Transferred to Hall Line Ltd. (same name) 1959 – Sold to Panamania-Oriental Steamship Corp., and renamed CAMERON (Panamanian flag), managed by Wheelock, Marden & Co., Hong Kong. 1961 – Sold to Eddie Steamship Co., Taipei, and renamed CHEE LEE (Nationalist Chinese flag). 1962 – Transferred to Far Eastern Navigation Corp., Taipei (same name).
