Teacup, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; standing on a straight sided foot rim, curved base and straight sides flaring slightly at lip; ear shaped loop handle; transfer printed and infilled with enamel, with the Kakiemon pattern - Japanese stylised red and yellow flowers on trailing stems of green, blue, and turquoise leaves, with insects; a sprig inside the bowl; gilt lip, and a gilt line on the handle.
