Slip cast earthenware jug, two mould lines, baluster form, cylindrical neck, broader band around rim, slightly pinched lip, narrow loop handle joined at rim and above widest part of body. Stylised carved linear decoration on either side of a charging goat amongst curving foliage. Interior glazed blue grey, exterior glazed matt yellow green glaze over the blue grey glaze, giving areas of deep blue grey especially in the incisions. Base unglazed.
