Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Plate, earthenware, circular shape, rounded foot-rim with a raised ring around it, cushion-moulded sides and spreading rim, a number of raised ribs run from the edge of the well to the rim, the rim waved; transfer-printed in flow-blue with to the centre of the well the 'Pheasant' pattern, a small scene showing two exotic long-tailed birds perched on a branch spreading from a tree-stump, trees and shrubs in the background, border to the rim of floral clusters linked by a running chain of small flower heads, dentil border to the outer rim.
