Sweetmeat basket
Sweetmeat basket, tin-plate, standing on a high curvig spreading base with four lead ball feet, the basket with curving sides and a shaped edge to the rim, the sides of the basket and base pierced all over with small round holes; covered all over with a cream-coloured japan apart from the well of the basket which has a chocolate japan and is decorated with a transfer design of leaves and scrolls in yellow and green, the edges of the basket bound with chocolate covered wire.
