Early Medieval bone peg
Crudely carved bone peg, representative of a group of nine such pegs. Two appear to have been whittled out of broken pins, but the remainder were probably carved from slivers of bone. They range in length from 30mm to 15mm. They may have been intended for playing a board game like that for which a board was found at Ballinderry No. 1. They occur principally at the northern end of the site.
