Tournai Porcelain Factory (porcelain factory, founded 1750 by François Joseph
Peterinck)
Juice pot, soft-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, bulbous body moulded with fine spiral reeding, scrolled loop handle with small raised thumb-spur, round domed cover moulded with fine spiral reeding and with to the centre a finial modelled in the form of a berry with a stem and leaves; decorated with around the exterior body of the pot scattered sprays and sprigs of flowers in puce and gilt, rich puce and gilt borders around the exterior lip-rim of the pot and the rim of the cover, gilt lines around the foot-rim of the pot and the rim of the cover, the handle and finial picked out in puce and gilt.
