Teapot
Teapot, black basalt, oval form with flat base and straight sides, flat shoulder and a cylindrical moulded gallery, 'cannon' spout, ear-shaped grooved handle with moulded leaves to the shoulder and lower terminal, engine-turned vertical banding around the lower body, to either side of the body applied groups of animals, to one side a fox running from a lion, to the other side a donkey kicking a fox, a band of moulded foliage around the shoulder. One side of the body broken and repaired, the cover missing.
