Jug
Jug, earthenware, standing on a waisted spreading foot-rim, the lower body with bulbous sides, the upper body with cylindrical sides, waved lip-rim, beak spout with foliate moulding to its base, plain loop spout; transfer-printed in blue and overpainted in pink, green, red and yellow with to the lower body several spreading groups of flowers and foliage, to the exterior neck a spray of flowers and foliage and a shell, two shells and a bird-like shape to the interior neck, sprigs of flowers to the interior and exterior spout, a running border of vine leaves and fruit to the handle.
