Late Iron Age copper alloy bridle bit
Bronze bridle-link fragment from a Late Iron Age two-link type bridle-bit of Polden Hills sub-type. The link has a distinctive flared mounding defining the perforation which held the cheek ring. The bar is broken and the end-loop missing. This plain and undecorated example is paralleled by multiple examples from the Polden Hills hoards and two from Llanaber, Merionethshire
