Teapot and cover

Teapot and cover, hard-paste porcelain, ovoid form, shallow footring, ear-shaped handle, curved spout, circular cover that is slightly domed and has a berry finial; the rim of the teapot and the cover are decorated with a band outlined with blue lines and filled in with gold dots and pink leaves, entwined around this border is a trellis of roses in pink and gold, the finial is gilded, one side of the teapot is painted with an oval gold ornament, the other side is painted with a lion's head in black monochrome in an oval lined with a gilt border, the edges of the spout and handle are gilded and the base of the spout is decorated with a gold spray.
