Roman bone scabbard box chape
Front element of a bone box chape plate. The fragment is trapezoidal in shape and slightly convex. It is decorated by a raised central rib dividing a raised ellipse with a pair of incised scrolls near the top. The upper end is notched and lower edge bevelled.
