Dish and strainer
Meat/fish platter, earthenware, roughly oblong shape with flat base, curving sides and spreading rim, a raised edge to the well, the rim lobed and moulded with several raised bands around it; transfer-printed in blue with to the well and extending up the sides of the well onto the rim scattered sprays of flowers and foliage in varying sizes, some with shells, dentil border to the rim of small circles and diamond shapes issuing small flowers. Strainer, earthenware, round-ended oblong shape, standing on a tapering foot-rim curving inwards, flat upperside which is perforated with a number of scattered pierced holes and with a larger round hole to the centre; transfer-printed in blue with to the upperside of the strainer scattered sprays of flowers and foliage in varying sizes, one with shells, dentil border to the rim of small circles and diamond shapes issuing small flowers.
