Butterboat
Butter boat in soft-paste porcelain, the base with three moulded footpads forming a shallow trefoil shape, the handle square and surmounted with a stylised stalk, the boat is in the form of an asymmetric leaf; the interior is decorated with a a chinoiserie landscape with pagoda, trees and birds next to a river, the interior rim is painted with a simple border pattern of ovals with evenly spaced sunbursts and triangular pendants, and the handle with gradiated dots, all decoration is in underglaze blue.
