Nantymwyn lead mine, negative
Jones, Robert Protheroe (Curator at Amgueddfa Cymru.)
Remains of Nantymwyn lead mine. Remains of the main processing plant installed by the Sulphide Corporation who worked the site from c.1925 until it was abandoned in 1932. To the right and just beyond the prominent ore bins are the remains of the crushing mill and the run-in New Shaft. To the left of the ore bins lie the remains of the 'shopfloor' of the flotation mill. This is one of seven prints joined to form a panorama (2018.66/284.3-/286.1).
