Basin, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a rounded waisted foot-rim, rounded curving sides; finely painted in polychrome enamels and gilt with around the exterior upper body a border of repeating floral sprigs in purple and green enamels and feathery gilt ornament, around the lower body scattered floral and foliate sprigs in blue and green enamels and in gilt, a band of gilt dots around the centre of the exterior body, worn gilt lines around the foot-rim and lip-rim.
