Neolithic pottery vessel
Vessel 2 - Vessel with a rolled rim of about 260mm diameter. The fabric is smoothed, and thins from 16mm at the rim to 9mm beneath it, and contains angular quartz grains (fabric 1). The outer surfaces are brown and dark brown (7.5YR 4/2) to black, and the internal surfaces are a reddish-brown (5YR 4/4) to black.
