Teapot and cover
Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, slightly spreading foot-rim, cylindrical body, rounded shoulder with several raised ridges around it, short cylindrical neck, triangular curving spout with reeding around its lower part, square handle, round cover with cylindrical sides and flat slightly inset top, to the top of the cover a square handle over a circular aperture with two smaller circular apertures to either side; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to either side of the exterior body of the teapot the inscription "Ma: Kröger" in gilt and enclosed by circular borders of forget-me-nots tied with a puce ribbon at the top, two forget-me-not sprigs to the top of the cover, borders of looping foliate festoons in gilt around the shoulder of the teapot and the sides of the cover, the spout picked out in gilt and black enamel, black enamel stripes and gilt dots to both handles. The rim of the cover chipped.
