Roman stone wall lining
Two conjoining fragments of a shaft and capital of a pilaster. The right-hand corner of the capital is missing, and the shaft is broken diagonally close to the top. Lee shows a further length of the shaft fitting on to the bottom of the present piece, but this is now lost. The decorated surface has suffered from weathering.
