Pardoe, Thomas (1770-1823)
Slop-bowl, hybrid-paste porcelain with a buff earthy translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim, indented and ridged above, London shape; painted with a frieze of polychrome flowers and leaves, including roses, lilac, tulip, and wild roses, bordered by gilt bands; gilt bands to the foot, gilt circular band inside bowl with a gilt cross sun-ray motif in the centre.
