Roman copper alloy headstud brooch
Small brooch. A ridge runs across the brooch above the housing for the hinge. The bow is broad and flat at the head and there is a slight protuberance a short way down which must once have been an ornamental headstud. Below this the bow is ornamented with lozenges of blue enamel. The bow terminates in a knobbed foot.
