Clamp
Wooden stitching clamp, used by saddler for holding pieces of leather together for stitching.A pair of curved wooden staves sprung together at one end to hold leather in place for sewing.The top edges grip the leather and are kept together by pressure between the knees of the user, as well as their own 'spring'. Between the two staves is a third, shorter piece, at the other end of the clamp.
