Lower Zone. At the point of carination there is a border of leaves, below which is a wavy line border above a lower register with stylized grass and what may be the tail of a running animal. The leaves placed vertically in a row may be those used on bowls stamped by Modestus (Knorr 1919, Taf.58, B; Knorr 1952, Taf.43, E-G), Passienus (Knorr 1919, Taf. 63, D; Knorr 1952, Taf.48, C) and Iucundus (Knorr 1952, Taf.31, D); the latter piece also includes the use of grass and animals.
