Plate, earthenware, circular shape with rounded foot-rim, cushion-moulded sides and spreading rim, a raised edge to the well; transfer-printed in purple-grey with to the centre of the well a large spray of lilies of the valley and other lilies and a smaller spray of blossom, border to the rim of foliate scrolls and floral motifs against a banded purple-grey ground and surmounted by a narrow band of scrolls on a purple-grey ground.
