Plate, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a very shallow foot rim, spreading sides, large everted lip; decorated in polychrome enamels in the Kakiemon manner, the centre with a butterfly, surrounded by scattered single flowers and a border of three sprays of flowers, border of sprays of flowers to lip, chocolate brown line to lip edge.
