Sugar basin
Sugar basin, hard-paste porcelain, bucket-shaped with straight sides that curve at the base narrowing in toward a circular pedestal foot, two ring handles moulded onto each side; the interior and exterior edges of the rim are decorated with gold bands, the base is decorated with a gold leaf border painted within two gold line borders, the foot is decorated with a border of gold dots and a gilt line band around its edge, each side of the body is painted with three birds perching on gilt branches.
