Used when police officers had to be a certain height and weight. Believed to be of late 19th century date
Iron weighing scales with small platform, ruler and beam attatched to the top of the stand, or pole. Painted dark green. End of the beam to hang weights has broken off. Painted in red and gold at the top of the scales: REPAIREDBY ASHWORTH ROSS DUROS Formerly part of Gwent Police Museum collection
