Panel of embossed leatherwork, irregular rectangular shape cut from a larger piece, pinned to a cloth covered board with one pin, holes for others along each side. Central design of an impaled coat of arms under a marquis's coronet: in left lower quarter five stars or florets and in chief left five lappets, and on right a quatrefoil motif; in right half a lion rampant. Crest mantled with scrolling leaves and flowers, outer border on left and right of horizontal lappets formed of overlapping circles.
