Weesp (fl.1759-1770)

Tea bowl and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, tea bowl standing on a foot rim, tall sides tapering inwards at base; decorated in polychrome enamels, on one side with a female figure wearing a purple skirt, yellow bodice, holding a basket, looking to the left, trees and bushes behind, scene standing on a curved purple platform with patternwork and scrolling, opposite a purple sprig and a single leaf, dark purple border line to lip. Saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading sides; decorated in purple, green, brown, yellow and green enamels, the centre with a female figure wearing a purple skirt, white and yellow bodice, holding a basket, looking to her left, tree to right, bushes behind, scene standing on a purple platform with hatching and scrolling, purple border line to lip.
