Pot-lid
Pot-lid, earthenware, circular shape with cylindrical flange and convex top; the upperside of the lid decorated with an underglaze polychrome transfer-print of the 'Albert Memorial', showing the Albert Memorial surrounded by figures walking, riding horses and driving in carriages, in the background is a large glass building which may be the Crystal Palace, around the bottom of the scene is printed the inscription "ALBERT MEMORIAL", the print enclosed by a narrow circular dotted border. The glaze crazed.
