Patch box
Patch box, hard-paste porcelain, rectangular shape with flat base and slightly curving sides, slightly domed cover, the rim of the box and the rim of the cover mounted with silver fittings which join at a hinge to one side of the box; finely painted in polychrome enamels with around the exterior sides of the box, the underside of the base and the top of the cover scattered sprigs of naturalistic flowers, to the underside of the cover a spray of naturalistic flowers issue from a straw basket on a table.
