Jug
Jug, pearlware, standing on a rounded spreading foot-rim, bulbous body with horizontal ribbing around the lower body, sloping inwards at the shoulder to a cylindrical neck, narrow beaded bands around the lower body, shoulder and exterior lip-rim, beak spout with a moulded mask to the underside, foliate-moulded handle with a moulded mask to the lower terminal; a broad band of a royal blue ground around the exterior body, this sprigged with to the front of the body a rose and to either side floral sprays, these overpainted in orange, red, yellow and green enamels, the rest of the exterior body, the interior neck, the spout and the handle covered with copper lustre.
