Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Dish, oval, soft-paste porcelain with a creamy, pale buff translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into slightly cushion moulded and curved spreading sides; lobed lip moulded with c-scrolls and ribbon-tied flowers and foliage, groove moulded cavetto; painted in the centre with an asymmetrical arrangement of one flower spray and several sprigs scattered to cover flaws, and six single flowers around the edge, incuding a rose, rosebud, and bluebell.
