Plate, hard-paste porcelain, circular, footring; the edge is decorated with three gold borders alternating with a blue border and a dark green border, the rim is reserved with four panels framed by gold and blue borders and containing flowers against a dark green backdrop, the panels are reserved on gilt scales on a red ground, the centre is painted with a gold circle containing a peacock and below this is painted a small semi-circle of gilt scales on a red ground circled by a large semi-circle of flowers against a cream ground.
