Milk jug
Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Milk jug, low oval form, angular handle, high lip. Body decorated with a broad band of light underglaze-blue continuous transfer-pattern of variously patterned diamonds, the lower side edged with pendant trefoils alternating with pendant diamonds. Underside of lip, lower third of body undecorated and area around handle undecorated; pattern repeated around inside lip of jug. Trellis pattern to back of handle.
