Four letters of correspondence between E.I.David and B.L.Metcalf of the National Coal Board regarding an article written by E.I.David 'Power Production at the Collieries'. The four letters were held together with a pin. Three of the letters are from B.L.Metcalf (two are signed on his behalf by his P.A. Miss S.Potts) to E.I.David. Typed in black ink on white, N.C.B headed paper. Letters dated 20th September and the 4th and 11th October 1949. One of the letters is from E.I.David to B.L.Metcalf. Typed in black ink on off-white paper. Letter dated October 5th, 1949. Loose within a beige/light brown file with all other documents with the accession number 83.184I/70. The file is labeled 'Steam and Electric Collieries'.
