Cup, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, rounded curving sides, plain loop handle; coarsely painted in puce with to the front of the exterior body of the cup a rural landscape with buildings and a spire, to the rest of the exterior sides of the cup scattered floral sprigs, a small beetle to the interior bottom of the bowl, around the exterior lip-rim a simple line, arch, dash and sprig border pattern in puce, a chocolate edge to the lip-rim, the handle picked out in puce. The foot-rim chipped. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, curving sides; coarsely painted in puce with to the centre of the well a rural landscape with buildings, scattered floral sprigs and insects around the sides of the well, around the rim a simple line, arch, dash and sprig border pattern in puce, a chocolate edge to the rim.
