Teapot and cover, porcelain, oval body with inset base, integral gallery with thickened rim rising to front and back, scroll handle with thumbrest, cover rising to urn-shpaed finial; pattern 765, underglaze blue ground with flowers, leaves and stems reserved in white, these enamelled in green, red and yellow and gilded, gilded foliage over the blue ground, gilded bands to rim, edge of foot and edge of cover, all but inner face of handle gilded, upper part of spout gilded with gilded leaf pattern below, finial gilded.
