Teapot and cover
Teapot, tin-plate, oval form with slightly curving sides, hinged oval domed cover with lead finial, curving spout, high loop handle with raised curving thumb-spur; the exterior covered all-over with a black japan, decorated in gilt with a wide floral border around the upper body of the teapot, and narrower borders of scrolls and lines around the lower body, the shoulder and the rim of the cover, a design of radiating lines around the finial.
