M.V. FREDANJA, glass negative

M.V. FREDANJA (277 grt.). Built by Gebr. (Gebr.= Bros.) Van Diepen, Waterhuizen (Netherlands) for captain-owner Jan Hartman. From 26 May to 1 June 1940, the ship was involved in operation Dynamo, the evacuation of British forces from Dunkirk. On 1 January 1942, she went aground at Copeland Light (Donaghdee) and was susequently lost. All hands were saved.
