Saucer
Saucer, porcelain, foot ring, curved profile; gilded and brown enamel lines on rim below which a blue band with gold stars above a grapevine border in brown and gold with a draped pink ribbon opposite below the initial 'J' in gold.
This saucer is part of a group of porcelain tea and coffee wares commissioned in China by Captain John Jones. Jones served as a captain in the East India Company from 1790 to approximately 1801.
