Spill vase
Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Spill-vase, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a straight sided foot rim indented above; cylindrical shape with a lightly everted lip; painted with diagonal rows of four pink roses alternating with four gilt c-scrolls and red berries, all pendent from a border of gilt c-scrolls below the lip; gilt scalloped lip, and inside lip a gilt arcaded border with stylised flower head pendents; gilt foot rim.
